Fun Playing at Sharkey's Casino We were in the area so stopped by Sharkey's Nuggett. Its a smaller size casino, but still fun to play in. Poker hand probability texas holdem. Povesti de poker tournaments. They also have a good cafe.

• Line Chef / Sous Chef (Former Employee) - Gardnerville, NV - March 20, 2020 When we first opened, the menu was great, the food was fresh and made to order and the whole place was awesome to work in. Over time though, the menu changed to make things cheap and so did the food.

Inscription. The 'Corner Saloon' was constructed on this site in the late 1890's. Adjacent uses on and near this site came to include a drug store, blacksmith shop, and mortuary. C.M. Krummes operated the blacksmith shop and mortuary, and served as the first chairman of the Gardnerville town board in the early 1900's.
The building is actually several buildings joined together. The drug store was located inside to the south. The building was known as the 'Golden Bubble' until its purchase by Mr. Sharkey Begovich in 1972. Mr. Begovich is an icon of the gaming industry and a large part of Nevada gaming history.

'Sharkey' owned and operated the Nugget for thirty years until its sale to the Holder Hospitality Group in 2002.
